The scabs fall off after a few more days, leaving a pink and scarred area.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pain:<\/strong> Blisters can be <strong>painful and tender<\/strong>, especially when touched.<\/li>\n<li><strong>General discomfort:<\/strong> Some people may experience <strong>flu-like symptoms<\/strong>, such as fever, headache, muscle pain, or fatigue, before or during the onset of <strong>cold sores.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Eating problems:<\/strong> This can cause problems when <strong>eating food<\/strong>, as the food may rub <strong>against the lip.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Is there a cure for cold core?<\/h2>\n<p>There is no cure for cold sores, but there are <strong>treatments<\/strong> that can help relieve symptoms and speed healing.
